Challenge

In 2014, Red Mango was riding the peak of the frozen yogurt boom — but with rising competition, the brand needed a way to retain loyal fans while attracting new customers. The challenge: create a seamless, visually engaging loyalty program that encouraged repeat visits and increased brand interaction across digital and in-store touchpoints.

Approach

We partnered with Paytronix to develop Club Mango, a loyalty app that allowed customers to pay, gift and receive exclusive offers directly from their smartphones. To launch the program, we created the "Eat Me" campaign — a playful, visually distinct identity that stood apart from Red Mango’s core branding while remaining complementary.

To bring Club Mango to life, I led the creative direction across all campaign assets, including app visuals, in-store signage, email marketing, and social media. We combined clean vector illustrations with rich raster textures to give the campaign its own tactile, crave-worthy appeal — evoking the sensory experience of enjoying a Red Mango treat.

Results

  • Customer registration increased by 33% within the campaign window

  • Club Mango reached an all-time high in return visits

  • Strengthened brand loyalty and customer engagement during peak competitive market
